The SAC Method for an Immediate Shift Toward Greater Results
By Stephen McGhee
Surrender. Apologize. Create.
SAC is a method I created to help people navigate conflict and challenging situations with greater ease. Life throws unexpected challenges our way, and often, we waste time and energy trying to be "right" instead of seeking peace, clarity, and forward momentum. Over my 30 years as a leadership advisor, I've seen firsthand how much unnecessary stress and struggle we create for ourselves.
The SAC Method provides a reset, a structured yet deeply personal approach to moving forward with speed, grace, and effectiveness. When applied, SAC produces immediate results. It is built on three simple yet transformative steps: Surrender, Apologize (or Accept), and Create.
"When a human being fully surrenders and accepts or apologizes for their current reality, they are set free to create powerfully forward." — Stephen McGhee
S – Surrender
Surrender is the act of releasing control, resistance, and attachment to how things "should" be. It is not about giving up; it is about giving over to life, to love, to truth. Surrender is the doorway to grace.
To surrender means:
  • Letting go of the illusion that you can force people or situations to agree with you
  • Releasing the stories, rules, and expectations that keep you bound
  • Trusting life, God, the Universe, or whatever higher intelligence you believe in
  • Acknowledging that true power comes not from control but from alignment
Ask yourself:
  • What am I resisting right now that, if I surrendered to it, would set me free?
  • What belief or expectation am I holding that is keeping me stuck?

Personal Insight:
For years, I held rigid expectations of how others should treat me, expecting respect, honesty, integrity, punctuality, and fairness. When these expectations weren't met, I reacted with resentment, blame, and self-righteousness. I was exhausting myself trying to control what I had no power over. Surrendering to this truth liberated me, allowing me to shift from judgment to grace and move forward with clarity.
A – Apologize / Acceptance
Apologizing is a powerful clearing. It is the recognition of how we have wronged ourselves and others. It is not about guilt or shame. It is about responsibility and freedom.
Similarly, Acceptance is about acknowledging reality as it is without resistance, which creates space for true healing and growth. Acceptance is the first law of Spirit. This does not mean resignation or passivity, but rather the wisdom to work with what is, instead of wasting energy trying to change people or circumstances beyond our control.
To apologize or accept means:
  • Acknowledging where you have been out of alignment with love, truth, and presence
  • Taking responsibility for the impact of your actions, even unintended ones
  • Speaking words of authenticity and making things right when necessary
  • Releasing self-judgment and extending the same grace to yourself
  • Acknowledging the reality of a situation, accepting what is, and making peace with it
Ask yourself:
  • Where have I wronged myself or others by being out of integrity?
  • What do I need to apologize for without excuses, justifications, or defenses?
  • How can I clear the space so I can move forward powerfully?
  • What would shift in my life if I fully accepted this situation as it is?

Personal Insight:
I had to apologize not just to others, but to myself for living with two versions of me: the version that wanted to be in control and the version that wanted peace. The first version would cause me to be self-righteous, rule-enforcing, and controlling. It robbed me of my inspiration and kept me from creating at the highest possible level. Apologizing and accepting freed me from the need to be "right" and allowed me to step into true presence and authenticity.
C – Create
Once surrender and apology or acceptance clear the space, true creation can begin. Creation is about stepping into limitless possibility and shaping your life with intention.
To create means:
  • Designing life from inspiration rather than obligation
  • Acting from being rather than from needing to prove something
  • Living as a conscious creator, fully responsible for your world
  • Manifesting wealth, love, success, peace, or anything you desire with clarity and integrity
Ask yourself:
  • If I were free from the past, what would I create?
  • Who am I committed to being as I create my life?
  • What action can I take today to bring this creation into reality?

Personal Insight:
My commitment is to live SAC — Surrender, Apologize, Create — as a way of life. By letting go of old ways of being, I make space to see what is truly possible, rather than forcing situations to fit my expectations.
Living SAC as a Way of Being
Surrender
Let go of control and trust
Apologize or Accept
Clear what is in the way
Create
Move forward with power and intention
SAC is not a one-time process. It is a daily practice. Whenever I feel stuck, lost, or disconnected, I return to these three steps.
Through this, I can create anything: more prosperity, a happier marriage, inner peace, ultimate well-being. I am no longer bound by the past. I am free.
The Perfect Blend of Science and Soul
The SAC Method is the perfect blend of science and soul. It is both practical and profound, bridging the gap between mindset shifts and deep emotional transformation.
When applied, it has the power to turn any situation or relationship in a positive direction while clearing the way forward to create more powerfully. The SAC method, when practiced, opens a portal of possibility that exponentially increases presence and results.
Final Commitment
I choose to SAC my way forward in life.
To surrender, to apologize, to accept, and to create with courage, an open heart, and a ton of inspiration.
